Who are you?
Hi! I'm
huinesoron, and I'm the author of Generic Surface, which is what you're looking at.
What is Generic Surface?
To my knowledge, Generic Surface is the very first PPC webcomic. It's definitely the first PPC Lego webcomic (although not the first Lego webcomic; it may be the first PPC Lego, but I doubt it). It's named after the material used to construct most of PPC HQ: generic surface. It's a surface, and it's, well, generic.
What is the PPC?
No, not 'Pay-per-click'. The PPC, or Protectors of the Plot Continuum, is an organisation set up to deal with the debilitating effect of bad fanfiction on the worlds of the multiverse. We're quite a strange lot. To find out more, go to The PPC Wiki. My own PPC websites can be found here and here. There's quite a lot there... yeah, I write a lot.
What is Lego?
Where did you grow up? Lego is a range of toys made by the Lego group. Basically it consists of interlocking bricks of various sizes and shapes, along with accessories to go with them. In addition to the official Lego products, Generic Surface will make use of materials purchased from BrickArms.
What is a webcomic?
You're joking, right?
How much of this do you own?
Lego is the property of the Lego Group. The PPC is the creation of Jay and Acacia. I don't know who created webcomics, but it wasn't me. I claim no ownership of any of the above. However, most of the PPC Agents in this comic are my creations, so they're my fault. I mean responsibility.
Additionally, I was not the creator of my Fujifilm camera, the Brickarms elements in use in Generic Surface, or Terragen, which is used to render some absolutely stunning outdoor scenes.
Where is this comic going?
Absolutely nowhere! Really, I don't have any long-term plans for it. It'll just... run. And we'll see where it ends up.
Where do I start reading?
At the beginning. If that doesn't interest you, or you're looking for a specific storyline, you can find the list of storylines below. Or you can search for a storyline or cast member by using the Tags page.
Who's in it?
Again, check the Tags, specifically "Cast Bio". This links to every comic which features a cast biography image - in effect, through this tag, you can find the first appearence of every character in the comic.
What's your updating schedule?
I haven't the faintest idea. Variable, probably.
How can I contact you?
Well, this is Livejournal. You could always try leaving a comment. Or if you prefer, you can email me at the address shown above.
